How to Make Koa's Bracelets
In Wally Wale’s Mighty Tail, you’ll notice that Koa wears several bracelets. He wears two white beaded bracelets on his right wrist and a thick, black bracelet on his left wrist. Follow the instructions below to make matching bracelets of your own!
Here’s what you’ll need to make Koa’s bracelets:
A piece of black felt
Twine or any type of strong string
First, cut a piece of felt to fit around your wrist. Lay the felt flat and draw a line of glue at one end. While the glue is still wet, bring the ends together to create the bracelet.
Let your bracelet sit until the glue is dry. Bracelet number one—done!
Now here’s how to make the two beaded bracelets.
Cut two pieces of twine or strong string long enough to fit around your wrist.
Tie a knot around one bead. This will prevent the other beads from sliding off the string.
String the rest of the beads until the bracelet is full. Tie the ends together in a double knot. Follow the same steps with the other piece of string. Now you have two white beaded bracelets!
Great job—you’ve made Koa’s bracelets! Wear these bracelets as a reminder of the EQ principle that Wally Wale teaches Koa: Happiness is a Choice!
